Punch-In Devices Can be installed several punch-in devices on the same computer. Each computer on the network support up to one keyboard, um leitor �ptico via teclado one barcode reader with keyboard interface and one barcode reader with serial interface (RS-232) for each serial port available. Configure the Keyboard as a punch-in device: 1) Click on the Setup command 2) Click on the Add Device 3) Type "Keyboard" on the Device Name field 4) Complete the field Node (software licence #) with the number of the software licence for the PC where is connected the device. You don't need to do this if you are using the trial version 5) Select the Model "Generic" 6) Select the Connection "Keyboard" 7) Click on the Apply command 8) If you desire the employee to be required to type the 4-digits password after the digital key , select a value different that zero in the Time for password parameter. Configure a Barcode Reader with Keyboard Interface as a punch-in device: 1) Plug in the barcode reader in the keyboard port 2) Plug in the keyboard in the "T" cable of the barcode reader 3) Click on the Setup command 4) Click on the Add Device command 5) Type a Device Name 6) Complete the field Node (software licence #) with the number of the software licence for the PC where is connected the device. You don't need to do this if you are using the trial version 7) Select the Model "Generic" 8) Select the Connection "Keyboard" 9) Click on the Apply command 10) If you desire the employee to be required to type the 4-digits password after the digital key , select a value different that zero in the Time for password parameter. 11) If you desire the employee to be required to pass a second time the badge to confirm the punch-in/out select a valuedifferent that zero in the Time for badge confirmation parameter Configure a Barcode reader with serial RS-232 connection as a punch-in device: 1) Plug in the barcode reader in the serial port 2) Plug in the barcode reader power cord 3) Click on the Setup command 4) Click on the Add Device command 5) Type a Device Name 6) Complete the field Node (software licence #) with the number of the software licence for the PC where is connected the device. You don't need to do this if you are using the trial version 7) Select the barcode reader Model. If the model is not on the list select the "Generic" model 8) Select the serial port "COM1","COM2" or "COM3" in the Connection field.
