ISA E-Marketing 4.0 - User's Guide 3.2) Harvest of emails in sequence of pages The software ISA E-Markting allows you to work with several scanners of emails simultaneously, each one being executed in an independent process within Windows. For each scanner window is a different .exe file that is being executed The system works through a control database, where it detects if a scanners of emails is not showing signs of activity, kill the process, and reload the scanners of emails with a new .exe All this control is automatic and to make use you must configure and keep active the scanner controller robot with the following procedure: PROCEDURE TO CONFIGURE THE HARVEST OF EMAILS 1) Execute the program ISA E-Marketing 4 2) Click on User Databases  3) Select the ISA Searching Database file C:\ISA E-Marketing\ISAHarvest_ZA_Bing.mdb We are going to use the "South Africa harvesting on Bing sample" that is available for download on this link: ISAHarvest_ZA_Bing_www.zip You can find other searcing databases samples on this webpage: 4) Click on Open 5) Click on Import 6) Click on Email Harvest  7) This Searching Database is programmed to search on Bing, with 3 robots on South Africa The keywords are "+27", ".co.za", "south africa"  ADDING NEW KEYWORDS 8) Click on Duplicate 9) Modify the keyword .co.za by another search key that we want to add, for example HOTEL  10) Click on Save 11) Repeat from setp 8) for all keywords you want to add. The software support up to 20 robots STARTING THE HARVESTING 12) Mark the option Stop All automatic and Autoplay  >13) The robots will start automatically A record counter appears on the main screen, showing the amount of emails imported the other windows that open are robots that work like a browser, used to scan the database (from Bing in this example) You can always minimize them. When they are locked, the system kills them and loads them again, from the harvest controller window. All automatic and without interruption. That's why you can leave it 24 hours scanning without the need for surveillance  14) Let the system work until you have a significant number of emails and then you can export following this procedure: Export emails to TXT format |
